Was that you just asking 'Kyle Who'? Well, he might not be Kyle Who for much longer if he comes to us and that is the rumour getting spread by the Mirror this morning.
Now, those with a solid memory, much like me, will know that this isn't the first time we've heard this name. Back, back he says, in November you found his name linked to us in the News of the World.

We're doing this backward today, mostly because I want to start with Harewood as he's one of ours and he deserves to come first. Also, if you picked players based on effort and heart alone, this man would be second on the team sheet every week, after Milner.

I'm still a little soar from last night so I'm not going to go into too much detail from yesterday but will say if anything, yesterday showed that if we were to bring in a couple of players considered real quality, that there is a chance we could steal fourth place and maybe not because we got lucky.

I'm sitting with an Everton fan and he reckons a draw would have been a fair result and you know what, he's not wrong, but life isn't fair and we won with two lovely goals and a very lucky one.
Ashley Young is my man of the match for scoring the winner with seconds to go, seconds after Everton had equalised and tonight, even though it's Sunday, I'm going to get steaming drunk.

I'm not sure I've ever used the word swoop on this site before but if it's true, you've got to fancy Martin O'Neill will accept it. The thing is, it's a huge 'if' and it's quite possibly a load of cobblers.
Cobblers I say because I've just read it on TeamTalk and they say it's from The People. If you wanted more chance of bullshit then you've only got to look at The Mirror or one of their group newspapers.

Morning all and welcome on this lovely Sunday to the first in a new series of posts, the PMP or just so we're clear, the pre match papers post.
I'm doing this as the post match papers post is actually quite popular and well, there is always a little more paper talk before a match, so it sort of makes sense.

We go into this game needing three points and if we don't get them and Everton do, they could go above us, as could Portsmouth and Hull by the end of this weekend, although in reality it will probably only be Hull, if we lose and they win as our goal difference would save us.

Some can always find positives, no matter how bad or how embarrassing the result was. Writing a blog for four years and having an opinion that isn't always in the comfort zone of what the club would like has proven that to me.
